The Spice Times National Restaurant Awards held their second flagship awards and gala event onthe 30th October at the prestigious London Hilton, Park Lane.

The star packed event was a huge success with over 1000 guests and dignitaries in attendance. Some of the dignitaries included Rt. Hon. Bob Neil MP (under secretary of state), Rt. Hon. Angela Watkinson MP (Lord Commissioner HM Treasury), Ken Livingstone, Rt. Hon Rushanara Ali MP, Mayor Lutfur Rahman and Lord Karan Bilimoria.

The event was hosted by ITV Daybreak’s Tasmin Lucia Khan. Celebrities in attendance included singer song writer Rishi Rich and Veronica to name just a few.

The highest accolade of the evening, best restaurant in the UK went to Tarana Restaurant in Crawley, Sussex.

The show featured breathtaking performances from the star of ‘Just Dance’, Karan Pengali, known worldwide for his expert Bollywood style dancing with his dance troupe KSpark dancers.

Singer, Mumzy Stranger, one of the UK’s hottest hip-hop acts to come out of the Asian music scene in a number of years, wowed the crowd with his latest hits and an exclusive preview of his next release.

Guests enjoyed fine cuisine prepared by the world famous Madhus Catering.

The awards where in association with Pepsi and Allied Foods. Sponsors included J20, Percy Fox & Co, Blossom Hill, Cobra Beer, UBSN Kingfisher, Westmill Foods, Gold Star and Wright’s Baking Group, Curries Online, KTC Edibles, Waverley TBS, Jaguar Cars, Khass Products and Freshen Up.
