Asian food brand, Patak’s have announced that it will be the national sponsor of the National Curry Week 2011.

It comes as no surprise that Patak’s looks to cement its position as a market leader in the Indian Food category by sponsoring one of the biggest celebrations of curry in theUK.
“The sponsorship of National Curry Week creates an ideal opportunity for Patak’s to take ownership of a key time of year for Indian food,” said Nic Yates, marketing controller.
Patak’s currently own 25.7% market share of the Indian Food market and are looking to build upon this in the category worth £195.3 million.
The food company will also be running a massive marketing campaign which will inclide digital and social media advertising as well as in-store activities and also a search for Britian’s ‘signature dish’, to be judged by Anjali Pathak.
